Description
Three days and two nights of autumn in Forni di Sopra, for the traditional weekend in early September dedicated to the world of mountain mushrooms. Half-board, tastings and lots of activities dedicated to nature.
Discover all the activities planned: exhibitions, conferences, hikes with mycological guides, and nature walks to discover the flavors of the forest.
You will be able to shop in the many mycological markets and among the stalls placed along the streets of the village and enjoy the best culinary proposals dedicated to mushrooms and Fornense gastronomy in the restaurants and hotels of the village.

Friday: Forni di Sopra, cycle touristic ride, and aperitif with view on the Dolomites

Arrival in the morning, free time, and lunch at your choosing. In the afternoon, meeting with the tour guide and Mountain Bike instructor. Then, there will be a peaceful and pleasant ride surrounded by unspoilt nature, along the bike paths of Forni di Sopra (with a Mountain Bike or an e-bike). After, there will be a wonderful aperitif with a view on the Dolomites. At the end, return, dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
Saturday: Forni di Sopra, walk to the mountain hut, Mushroom festival

Breakfast and ascent with the chairlift Varmost (mt 1750) Walk to the mountain hut Varmst with a stop at the cheerful farm. Tasting of typical dairy products - possibility of purchase. Return by chairlift. Afternoon dedicated to the mushroom festival with a visit to the exhibitions, participation in conferences organized with local mycologists. Dinner made with mushrooms and overnight in the hotel.
