After breakfast, departure from Cividale towards the Natisone Valleys. Reached the town of Pulfero you get to the Cave of San Giovanni d'Antro. With a quick staircase you reach this place of worship and refuge, an archaeological and speleological site, the Cave of Antro will not fail to fascinate you with its mystery and the archaic symbolism that its frescoes reveal. In addition to a short speleological path suitable for everyone, in fact, you can admire the votive church in Slovenian Gothic style and discover the iconographic layers of the "Veronica" that portrays the face of Christ. At the end, you reach the nearby castle of Ahrensperg restored to its former glory after a valuable restoration work. Free time for the visit (possibility to make the guided tour - on request), then going down to the Valleys stop in San Pietro al Natisone for the tasting of Gubana the typical sweet of the Valleys.
